Waters
Edge
One Thursday in March of 2004 the Launch Team for Living
Springs gathered in prayer. Despite the abundance of talent
in Las Vegas Living Springs was without vocalists and musicians.
With power of the Spirit and the assistance of Kathy on Sunday
morning the Lord provided all the ingredients for praise and
worship. Kimberly, Kevin, Rick, Kathy, Kurt and Linda initiated
Water's Edge. The name and faces have changed over the last
3+ years but the sincerity and praise have inspired many to
know Jesus as Lord.
Opportunities
The excitement of a new mission and ministry opens the door
to new opportunities and new ministries. As the Spirit unveils
visitors and challenges each to share their gifts, new ministries
are started and equipped.
Is the Spirit moving you?
Community: The "Helping Hands"
ministry feeds 100-125 homeless each week. Ask for Joy. (pastorjack@livingspringslutheran.org)
The Women's Group advocates and facilitates ministries locally
and around the world. Living Springs works with Lutheran Social
Services of Nevada to foster their Thanksgiving and Christmas
programs to the needy and homeless.
Building & Grounds: The land at the
corner of Elkhorn and Grand Canyon provides the vision for
the future. Benefactors and contributors are necessary to
pay the $2 million debt. Plus, Living Springs always has the
door open to God's leading to new areas and worship sites
for growth. (schulterelectric@cox.net)
Volunteers
Volunteer Coordinator: A person to coordinate
the ministries at Living Springs and to encourage volunteers
to use their gifts. At the same this person advocates the
ministry of Living Springs and the mission of Christ's church
