Statement of Faith
Out of the desert has blossomed an exciting, inspirational
community of believers in Jesus Christ. The freshness of worship
and passion for sharing Jesus' love thrives in our midst.
The Charter process was completed on May 6, 2007. Organization
Sunday fleshed out the cross of Christ as the young and old
called to be Living Springs gathered to share the vision and
move forward as the body of Christ. Our vision points vividly
to Jesus.
Charter of Living Springs Church
We, as a body of believers,
called Living Springs Church,
centered in Jesus and directed by the Spirit,
Welcome All.
We are joyfully committed:

Through the good news of Jesus:

Changing lives in the name of Jesus.
Leadership
Church Council
The church council is elected by the congregation for a two
year term.
Teams
Outreach Team uses earthly vehicles
to invite people to share the heavenly message of Jesus.
The Team consists of Kimberly Shelton, Marge Andersen,
Gerry Walker, Judee Djozlija, Dinah Brewington and Colleen
Kidwell.
Christian Ed & Youth Team consists
of Janet Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Adam Sheets, Melanie
Miranda and Gloria Miranda. Children’s Ministry,
the Lively Youth Forum, middle & high school youth
groups evolve through this Team.
Stewardship & Finance Team consists
of Sandy Schmeling, Rick Erickson, Harlan Nelson, Barb
Randall and Jami Pietrafeso.
Team of Worship & Praise includes
Adam Sheets, Kurt Johnson, Kimberly Shelton and Dennis
Schmelling. The Team organizes & facilitates worship
and selects music.
Discipleship consists of creating opportunities
for study and service in the Lord’s name Mike Paris,
Vern Johnson, Irene Johnson, Dan Badger and Donna Badger.
Building and Grounds is visionary and
looking for land for the future growth of Living Springs
Church Joe Schulter, Kurt Johnson, Mick Webb and Jason
Kangas.

The Spirit called Pastor Jack and Gerry Williams from Nebraska
to the desert of northwest Las Vegas in August of 2003. Thousands
of doorbells later Living Springs provides a refreshing and
inspirational atmosphere. Jack was called into the ministry
of Jesus Christ in 1973 and along with Gerry has served congregations
in Nebraska and Illinois.
Pastor Adam Sheets, Youth Director - pastoradam@hotmail.com
Adam and his wife Krista were led by the Holy Spirit to
return to Living Springs in January 2009. Living Springs is
the third congregation that Adam has served as a Pastor. Adam
has learned much about himself and grown deeper in his faith
during his journey to lead him and Krista back to Living Springs.
Through the path and experiences of his time away, he has
gained fresh ideas and knowledgeable insight to share with
Living Springs. Adam was ordained into the Christian faith
in 2007. Adam and Krista's family consist of a beautiful daughter
named Savannah; a dog named Austin, and are eagerly awaiting
the arrival of a new baby boy in June 2009.

I am a full time student at UNLV in social work along with
being the mother of two active children. I am active in PTA
and the honor society at UNLV. We love attending Living Springs
because of the family atmosphere.
Kimberly Shelton: Outreach Coordinator - kkaeslvnv@aol.com
Eleven years ago I moved to Las Vegas to start my own sign
business, KS Graphics. One day Pastor Jack called on me while
canvassing and I came to know Jesus Christ. I was baptized
in October 2004 and am active in Water's Edge as well as serving
as Outreach Coordinator at Living Springs. My life has been
blessed.
